The collective of lesbians, gays, transsexuals and bisexuals have decided that they will not work with the National Plan on AIDS in the distribution of its latest campaign to 'Men who have sex with men' (MSM), since the Ministry of health, social services and equality has decided to eliminate the distribution of 100,000 condoms and 100,000 lubricants.

As noted, this decision violates agreements with NGOs, so they have decided to take care independently of the prophylactic material that has been donated and work with their own campaigns, "dismissing the distribution of the prospectus in the Ministry that no longer part of the agreed prevention campaign".

In this way the State Federation of lesbians, Gays, transsexuals and bisexuals (FELGTB), Fundación Triángulo, Coordinadora Gai-Lesbiana, Hispanosida and Stop AIDS, who have already know to health which, though have spoken to have been part of the artboard next to the PNS already autonomous communities, they reject the brochure of the PNS by veto preventive material, and not to share the final brochure version.

"" Also reported that they have failed to meet the PNS "despite multiple attempts by the collective"; and they regret that, in spite of to ask for explanations, not shown them the reason by which the PNS rejects preventive material at the disposal of the Ministry to deal with the information.

In his view, the distribution of 100,000 condoms and 100,000 lubricants which, moreover, were donated free of charge to distribute during the different manifestations of the pride organized associations in all Spain, becomes "a campaign of consensus" a timely distribution of brochures

"Condoms and lubricant are fundamental elements in the prevention work, and pride is a unique opportunity to reach this population's particular vulnerability to HIV," he added.

Finally, remember that the National Plan on AIDS has as objective provide a comprehensive response to HIV and establish cross-cutting strategies in collaboration, however, they understand, "the current situation of the PNS is, from the point of view of the collective break without explanation gained consensus and ending the communication deliberately, what precludes an effective team work".

However, to show their "willingness" to return to the previous partnership model in which campaigns are consensuaban and not taking unilateral decisions without any explanation. The groups have also shown their interest in knowing the status of the Secretariat of the national AIDS Plan and the approach to collaboration with NGOs for the future.
