Denmark – In protest of wedding ritual for gays, Bornholm has a new congregation

Last night was Bornholm a new independent congregation – and 27 January is the first service in independent congregation, which has been named the Church on the Rock.

The new independent congregation was founded by 65 members of the Lutheran Mission and the Lutheran Mission Youth as a protest against the Church establishment of a wedding ritual for homosexuals.

The early church leadership consists of Birger Pedersen and Finn Erik Andersen from Ronne and Kenneth Gudbergsen from Østerlars.

The first service will be held in Lutheran Mission mission house in Østermarie.
