The Brazilian Association of lesbians, Gays, bisexuals, transvestites and transsexuals (ABGLT) want the Ethics Committee and Parliamentary Decorum of the Chamber of Deputies open new Disciplinary Procedure against Rep. Jair Bolsonaro (PP-RJ). So asks the letter sent this week to the Federal Deputy Henrique Eduardo Alves (PMDB-RN), President of the Chamber of Deputies, and the Congressman José Carlos Araújo, President of the Board of ethics and Parliamentary Decorum of the Chamber. The request is on behalf of parliamentary behavior in the sessions of the Commission on human rights and minorities, of which Mr nor part does. On the last day of March, 13 in tumultuous session chaired by Mr Marco Feliciano (PSC-SP), whom Bolsonaro was providing moral support, there was a confusion by fluminense with protesters against Feliciano. The former showed a military poster, handwritten with ballpoint pen on a sheet craft, with the following sentence: "Burn thread every day".

The entity believes that the Congressman uses his mandate to offend and chase the gay community, expressing their prejudice and discourse that supports the marginalization of lesbians, Gays, bisexuals, Transvestites and transsexuals. On occasion, the Congressman still made the following comment: "we now have a Human Rights Commission for human rights", which in the opinion of the community's judgment and did ABGLT stated that "people that it does not consider as being ' right ' will not be able to count on the support and protection of the Commission disqualifying so its raison d ' être".

"We understand that the Congressman Jair Bolsonaro systematically has been using its mandate to offend the dignity of LGBT population, lacking with observance of the ethical principles and the preservation of parliamentary dignity. Therefore, we have seen require Disciplinary proceedings by the Board of ethics and Parliamentary Decorum of the Chamber of Deputies against the Congressman Jair Bolsonaro for the reasons set out above, "says the document. In 2011 the Congressman faced three processes of breach of decorum and all were filed by their colleagues on the Ethics Committee.

Mr President,
The Brazilian Association of lesbians, Gays, bisexuals, transvestites and transsexuals (ABGLT)-is a nationwide organisation, founded in 1995, it currently brings together 286 similar organizations and aims to defend and promote citizenship of these segments of the population. ABGLT is also active internationally and has consultative status with the economic and Social Council of the United Nations. ABGLT's mission is to promote actions that ensure citizenship and human rights of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvestites and transsexuals, contributing to the construction of a democratic society, in which no person is subjected to any forms of discrimination, coercion and violence, because of their sexual orientations and gender identities.
In this sense, we feel obliged to express our abhorrence and require the taking of appropriate measures in relation to Congressman Jair Bolsonaro (PP/RJ), with a view to the public manifestation of attitudes because they are incompatible with the parliamentary decorum. For example, in the session of the Commission on human rights and minorities took place on March 13, 2013, Mr, in provocation to representatives of the community of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvestites and transsexuals attended the session, displayed a handwritten poster with the saying "Burn thread every day", as can be seen in the following links:

In the same session, the representative said "we now have a Human Rights Commission for human rights", that is, in the opinion expressed by Mr, people that it does not consider as being "right" will not be able to count on the support and protection of the Commission disqualifying so its raison d ' être.

We understand that Congressman Jair Bolsonaro systematically has been using its mandate to offend the dignity of LGBT population, lacking with observance of the ethical principles and the preservation of parliamentary dignity.
Therefore, we have seen require Disciplinary proceedings by the Board of ethics and Parliamentary Decorum of the Chamber of Deputies against the Congressman Jair Bolsonaro for the reasons set out above.

In anticipation of being met, we are at your disposal.

Best regards
Carlos Magno Silva Fonseca
President
